Northwestern people and land in the eyes of French photographer

Alone on his motorcycle, Rehahn traveled more than 2,000 km in 15 days around the Northwestern region to capture the beautiful moments of nature and people here.


Rehahn is a French photographer, who is living in Hoi An twon, Quang Nam province. Having been to many countries around the world, Rehahn especially loves Vietnam.


“I love old people and children more, especially when they smile. I spent a lot of time to communicate with them. Elders invited me to eat sometimes. I shot a lot of photos of during these occasions. I also made them laugh when I spoke in Vietnamese with them: ‘no teeth’.”

The 83-year-old woman in Bac Son was glad to tell about her first love with a French soldier who died in Vietnam.
