Ha Noi was ranked 8th among the world’s top 10 travel destinations on the rise, according to the world’s largest travel site TripAdvisor.
The capital city is third among up-and-coming destinations in Asia, behind Kathmandu in Nepal and Sapporo in Japan.
Among 85 destinations in Ha Noi, the Old Quarter was marked with the highest score of 4.5 out of 5 points by readers of TripAdvisor. The website emphasized Ha Noi’s mix of ancient and modern architecture and the city’s many lakes, parks and more than 600 temples.
Highlighting 54 places across the globe, the spots were selected based on data collected from millions of TripAdvisor user searches and reviews.
