Jetstar Pacific receives another Airbus A320 for Tet holiday

The low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific (JP) on January 24 received an additional Airbus A320 aircraft to server passengers over the traditional lunar New Year 2014.


 


This 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft, with a twin-jet engine, has been registered under VNA559. It was put into operation on the same day.


In relation to Tet holiday plans, a representative from JP said that the carrier has been deploying staff at all domestic airports to meet increased demand of passengers. As many as 10,000 passengers travelling on its night-flights on the 30th day of the last lunar month and 1st day of the lunar New Year will get “lucky money envelopes”, totalling VND100 million.

On the threshold of the first moments of the lunar New Year, JP offers an attractive promotional program for online purchasing at www.jetstar.com for zero VND tickets automatically allocated by the computer system, applicable for departing flights between March 4-April 24, and May 7-22, 2014. Passengers only have to pay taxes and fees as regulated.


Besides, travellers can purchase for VND768,000 a one-way ticket on Ho Chi Minh city-Hanoi, Vinh, or Hai Phong routes (effective from 0h00 of January 31 to February 7), VND568,000 for one-way ticket on Buon Ma Thuot – Vinh route, and VND468,000 for one-way ticket on Ho Chi Minh city – Da Nang and Hanoi – Da Nang routes.


Meanwhile, one-way ticket for Ho Chi Minh city– Phu Quoc, Cam Ranh, Buon Ma Thuot routes is just starting from VND368,000, applicable for departing flights between February 18-Apil 24, and May 7-22, 2014.


According to Mr Le Hong Ha, JP General Director, apart from normal luggage, passengers can purchase VND250,000 for each apricot and peach flowers (maximum 2 branches, 120x50x50 cm on measure) on Hanoi – Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh city- Da Nang, Buon Ma Thuot, Phu Quoc, Cam Ranh and Buon Ma Thuot – Vinh routes.


The fee for Ho Chi Minh city- Hanoi, Vinh, and Hai Phong routes is VND350,000.


Maximum bunches on each flight is 30, operating from now to February 14
