HCMC’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with HCMC’s Department of Industry and Trade and HCMC’s Tourism Association to organize “Sai Gon Big Sale 2013” from 1st to 31st December 2013.
According to HCMC’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this is an event that combines tourism with trade aiming to stimulate consumers, and to meet the demand of entertainment and shopping for local and foreign tourists to Ho Chi Minh City as well as habitants of the city and surrounding areas.
The program will take place at approximately 1,000 standard shopping points for tourism of the city including shopping centers, traditional markets such as Ben Thanh, Binh Tay… and shops of restaurants, hotels, tour operators, transport companies, and other tourism service establishments…
At present, the city has 117 shopping and food facilities which are awarded “Standard service for tourists” with hundreds of travel agencies and approximately 100 hotels from 3 to 5 stars.
